Our Writing Without a Net
workshop series saw another fantastic installment this month; Teaching Intuition with Jim Nason on October 10th was a huge success. Workshop participants wrote poetry and munched on pastries under Jim’s benevolent and
encouraging eye. Barbara Hunt, chair/president of the Ontario Writers’ Conference 2010, said, “Jim’s workshop was very helpful in stretching in different directions. He’s a wonderful instructor and I’d come to work with him again.” Don Smith, another pleased participant, said, “The afternoon was challenging and well organized. The assignments were inspiring, as well as hearing the other participants’ work and feedback. All in all, a very stimulating experience.” From Nashira Dernesch: “Jim is a great workshop leader: astute, passionate, and encouraging… I got 4 complete new poems out of the numerous and fascinating writing exercises… I thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend it.”
Our next workshop, Playing with Voice, will be hosted by Catherine Graham on November 7th, from 12-5 p.m. More information and online registration is available here – spots are limited, so act quickly if you’d like to attend!
